My 6yr old boy lashes out

My son is 6 years old. He lashes out and behaves violent towards his teacher and other students. In the last month on 4 different occasions he punched a teacher in the stomach, hit another school friend in the face with his fist, spit in another childs face and the last time said he was going home to get his fathers gun to shoot a couple kids. There are no guns at his home but the childrens aid was called anyways. I am running out of options because I cant be at school with him. When I (father) is around generally speaking he is good. Any ideas on what could possibly be done.

Thanks

Have you talked to your doctor about this?  I think some counseling might be beneficial.  Has he always been like this or is this a sudden change.

Is there any kind of violence in his life he may be copying what does he watch on TV as his Dad do you put movies on that he would see that have violence in them or anyone he visits , family ? Something is upsetting him, has he any older siblings, hitting a teacher is usually a sign that he does need some help maybe some counselling ask your Doctor first what he thinks is causing this behavior. Is he on any Meds?
