My 7 year old boy

Hi, my son will be 7 in may and he has a younger brother who is 4 month old.  My older son is having issues socializing with other kids espcially the older ones.  he is still a baby inside and acts some times like one.  He is friendly with others and can make friends fast still he can't seem to keep that friend ship.  he tend to be wanting to be the boss and it has to be him who makes the decision.  Arguing, growling are another two major issues.  He used to studer when he was 4 and he got treatment and he is fine however he still can't carry a full conversation without repeating the same sentence especially when he is nervous or excited.  
We have tried everyting in the book including taking away his favorit toys when he acts silly and rewarding him when is good.  
anothe issue is his conversations.  he would repeat the same words or sentence when he gets nervous or excited.  He also tend to memories scripts from cartoons he watches and repeats it  as if he is telling a story and he is proud that he can remeber all the words.  some other kids finds that annoying when he talks like that.

I suggest that you seek a professional evaluation for your son. A psychologist and/or psychiatrist will be able to evaluate if your child has some social anxiety, or some other type of issue that is challenging him. These professionals can also offer you guidance as to what you and your son can do to improve his social skills. Some places have social skills training sessions for children. I hear that these are gret resources for teaching children social skills.
