Why haven't you taken him back to the doctor that saw him at the hospital? They try their best to fix the immediate problem but tell you to seek your doctor's advice if the symptoms progress. Have you spoken to his pediatrician?

I agree with Rilbrianne. These are very serious symptoms, and language delay isn't usually associated with Rickets.
He needs a lot more medical help than he's getting - these are real concerns you have.
