My son is 6 years old and likes to smell feet

I saw that there were others moms on here who have generally the same concern as I, but I need to find out about this one.  I work all day in an office and I come home from work after I pick up my son from school.  When I get home I usually call a few friends on the phone and sit at the table.  My six year old son will wait for me to start talking on the phone and he will sneak under the table and smell my feet the whole time.  Now the thing is, is that I wear nylons to work and he only does this when I or anyone that comes over is wearing nylons.  If I move my feet out in front of me he moves with them.  I usually have them crossed under the chair and he will put his whole head under my chair just to smell my feet.  I tell him to go and play, it doesnt work!  I look under the table to see what he is doing and sometimes he is rubbing his groin on the rug under there.  My friends dont care to much if he sniffs their nyloned feet under there and I have almost given up and just accepted this as normal behavior.  I have even found the shoes that I have worn to work under his bed.

Any ideas?????

My girls are kind of funny about feet also.  They think it is funny to smell each others feet and laugh.  My girls are 4, 9, 11, and 12.  Does he think it's funny when he is doing it?  Kids are funny about feet.

I personally have experienced this with a friends little boy. I was sitting on the couch with my shoes off and he go on the floor  in front of my feet and started smelling them. He would lay his face on my foot while moving his hips on the carpet. I was surprised at first, but my friend noticed and told me just to ignore him. He does that to her also. I was apprehensive and nervous, and a little embarassed, but I found I kinda liked it. But I didn't let anyone know. I go back often for a visit with a full day in my stockings. I have noticed he gets excited.
I have seen lots of talk on here about the same thing. Maybe little boys will find other things later on to excite them.

to add to my dilemna...........yesterday my mom(his grandma) came over to mind him while I went out for a bit and my mom is one of those ladies who likes to dress nice.  So, she wears knee highs all the time.  So, she informed me that the whole time I was out my son was under the table smelling her feet while was doing paperwork from her job.  She asked him not to do that anymore but he ignored her.  She said she would move her feet and he would go with them.  She even told him that she would take off her knee highs and he threw a fit.

anyone give some input....I am wondering about counselling....or is that nessacery?

How long has your son been smelling feet and getting excited? Do you remember or know how it started? Does he do anything else?

My son has been smelling feet and getting excited since he was about 4. He just started going under the table at that age and ever since he loves it.

My 7 year old son has the exact same obsession.  I have the same questions. Does he like smelling your feet the longer you've been in your stockings by chance?

I do not know if my account helps but here we go, as young as i have been i had this foot smelling thing, i must have been about  3 when it began, it was with my mum i would go under the table lay down on my stomach and rub my groin while smelling her nyloned feet, on day i was around 4 or 5 my mum said no, that was a blunt no, i ignore if this no is that what made my fetish go deeper or not but i believe i would have grown out of it if there was not this no, i was crushed the thing that i loved the most my mother and also her feet her unique scent was denied. I still remember that event very strongly. Following that i started looking for that smell and my cousins feet or neighbors, some cousins would let me some won't their refusal made my frustration worse. Today i am almost 40 i am still into feet sniffing, although i am married i am still very looking for the smell of my mothers feet.
I wish sometimes that i was never too interested in feet smelling.

I wrote something to the mom with the 31/2 .  Maybe go to her question and read what I wrote....
If you don't let him smell your feet he will steal your shoes and it sounds like he already is.  It's harmless and he won't grow out of it, but eventually due to pear pressure and the fact your his mom he will eventually leave your feet alone.
The smell of your feet in nylons is obviously intoxicating to him for now!
It's harmless...nothing to be alarmed about.

My gosh, I couldn’t believe this interesting and helpful site when I fell upon it here.  I am in the exact situation as you.  I’m 38 and my best friend’s son has always been obsessed with smelling female feet, and has recently been really persistent on smelling my feet!  He’s 14 and has had this really strange obsession as long as I can remember.   He was always staring at my feet as he grew up when ever I was over visiting for as long as I can remember.  When he was younger he used to always grab my feet and put them to his face sniffing really hard.  My girlfriend thought is was funny when he did this with me and other female friends, and she sometimes would let him rub her feet, again laughing about it, but never let him smell her feet, although he would try.   So, over the past two years, he has become really insistent about feet, and has now gotten bold enough that he openly asks to smell my feet.   My girlfriend has caught him many times in her room smelling her heels and sneakers, and on their computer she has found foot fetish sites where he has visited.   We both still laugh about this, but she now asked me to just once let him smell my feet as he was driving her crazy all the time.  

About 2 months ago I dropped by her place after work.  So, here I was in her kitchen and sure enough her son asks to smell my feet.  My girlfriend was no help, and because of this ongoing frustration with this, she got me to agree to it.  Her son lied under the kitchen table on his back, and I kicked off my pumps and put my feet in his face.  After about 60 seconds the scent of my smelly feet was wafting around the kitchen. I was so embarrassed.  Being sort of flabergasted by this whole thing, I forgot how much my feet can smell after wearing these older pumps all day.  (I have always had a notorious foot odor problem). My feet actually felt wet on his face from being in my pumps all day.  So I lifted my feet off of his face, and he immediately was saying Julia this is not long enough and to keep going.  My girlfriend was laughing at me across the table and jokingly plugging her nose at the same time.  Her son grabbed both my feet and positioned them back covering his face.  I could not believe he still wanted to smell my feet the way they were, being so stinky.  My girlfriend poured me a coffee and asked me to just let him smell my feet until I was finished my coffee.  I think I burnt my mouth a few times trying to drink that coffee as fast as I could.  Even with the aroma of the coffee, the smell of my feet just overpowered the area in the kitchen!  During this time he would ask me to rub my feet around on this face, and not to just sit there with my feet planted on his face.  I have no idea how someone could like the smell of feet this way.  It was about the longest 20 minutes or so in my life, and he just lay there sniffing in and out.  What was also surprising and equally awkward for me was after about 10 minutes I actually started to like the feeling of his nose between my toes and the sensation of him sniffing in and out against my bare feet.  His eyelashes also tickled my feet as he blinked under my feet.

Anyway, it was certainly a strange experience, and until I read this posting on this site, I thought I was the only one ever experiencing this strange situation.
