New Separation issues for my 3 yr old

Hello,

I have a very independent and flexible youngster. Both my husband and I travel a lot for work and have travelled since our girl was very young.  We also take her on a lot of trips with us too.  She is very independent and has always been fine with us going as one of us is always home with her with a few rare exceptions.  Lately, over the past 2-3 weeks our girl has been crying and requesting "one more hug" when we leave her at the daycare or with sitters and family.  She has never done this before and we're not sure where its coming from.  Any advice as to how to work with her would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Travelling Mom

This little girl needs you around and not travelling and the very best thing you can do for her that will reflect most of her life, would be for you both or certainly one to adjust your times and be with her more. She is obviosly not as independant" as you say or there would not be a problem,it sounds as if she is passed around all over , day care then sitters then Family, Wow I am surprised she isnt crying all the time ,maybe you have that to come, excuse if if I say it but you had a child then decided to leave it at a "Young age" as you say,Your daughter is needing you in her life not other people.
