Noises

My 6 year old boy is making noises all the time I had a meeting with his teacher today and she is finding this behaviour a problem at school...... She has noticed that he does this more so when he is sitting at carpet time and when they change activities. He does this at home alot thinking about he does it everywhere. When I have asked him why he's making noises he tells me he doesn't know he is doing it or he doesn't know why he is. Please help me as I feel like I must of done something wrong.

This is sometimes a symptom of hyperactivity. Do you think that your son is overactive? Excessive talking can also sometimes be a symptom of anxiety - what have you noticed in that regard?
