Our daughter held a playmate down and undressed her.  She is 8, the friend was 5.  We have caught her in various states of undress with other friends over the last six months.  At what age is it considered normal to become sexually curious?  What advice can you give about the force associated with this action?

Our local PHD is trying to make money off you, a parent can deal with this thing easier than this strange man righting on a pad...

I suggest you talk with her, tell her its Rong to undress other kids, maybe talk to her about any questions she has, She cant go on stripping other children...  deal with it now, your not gonna do her any favors by letting this go on...  if this still goes on after all possibilities...try taking away things for this Rong behavor... if that doesnt work, then try the PHD.

Re: the general matter of sexual curiosity expressed by children's undressing themselves and maybe even touching each other, your daughter is at the older end of the spectrum for this to be viewed as normal. But in any case, the forceful undressing of another child is way outside the normal spectrum and should be viewed with concern. It would be sensible to pursue a mental health evaluation and discuss this matter with the clinician.
