POTTY TRAINING MY 3 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER

POTTY TRAINING MY 3 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER

I have a three year old daughter I can't get potty trained.  We ask her all the time if she needs to go potty and she always tells us no.  We will even have to her come into the bathroom with us.  We tried giving treats when she goes potty.  We evn tried rewarding others in the house when they go potty.  We as her where she should be pottying and she will tell us in the potty.  What can I do to get her trained?  I am really frustrated and I have tried what seems to be everything to get her potty trained.  At daycare she will go with the other girls while they potty.  She knows  she needs to go use the toilet but she will still continue to go in her pants.  Please help me.

If it appears to you that she now knows what to do, as she does in her pre-school program (or does she simply watch the other children vs do it herself?), you would be on reasonable grounds to do away with her diapers (assuming she is using them at this point). However, I would wait a few more months before taking that step, all the while continuing to use a positive approach by rewarding her for successful use of the potty.
