Potty Training Going Backwards for Older 3 Year Old

Hi! My daughter will be 4 in February 2009. Earlier this past summer, we had her fully potty trained during the day. She was still wearing a diaper or pull up at night, but underwear all day, even on long car rides. I only had to remind her to go to the potty part of the time. She mostly remembered to do so. She started going to preschool in August, and that is when she started wetting her pants. We had to take her out of preschool two months later due to financial reasons, nothing related to her behavior. After that she started going backwards with the potty training. She will still poop on the toilet, but almost always pees in her pants. I had to start putting her in pull ups during the day again because she was getting pee all over the house. She doesn't seem to mind having soaking wet pants one bit. I've tried reminding her as often as every half hour and she always says "no, I don't have to go, please don't check my pants". I've tried making her sit on the toilet anyway, even though she says she doesn't have to go, and she almost always is able to go. As soon as I forget to remind her, however, she wets her pants. I've said to her "big girls pee on the potty" and she said she didn't want to be big, she wants to stay little. I didn't quite know how to respond so I didn't say anything. I've tried bribing her with a Pez dispenser and let her get one piece of Pez candy out of a Tinkerbell dispenser every time she went, but that doesn't always work now. I'm running out of ideas. She doesn't even want her pullup changed when it's soaking wet. Help! Thank you!

The fact she started preschool and then started to slip back to wetting is telling you the problem is from the School sometimes there are rules and regulations regarding when children go for a 'potty break" personally I believe children should be able to go when ever they want to, but this isnt the case so ask the Teacher and the school what they do so the children of this age have regular access to the Bathroom.Maybe your daughter is holding it ask her how many times she goes at school make sure she is also happy there and there is no upset , No pullups they enable the peeing" take them away, big girl pants pretty ones, if she wears them to school and is doing it there that is your reason, Pullups are the same as diapers!
