Potty training behavior 5 year old boy

My 5 year old is having accidents(urinate in his pants just to get wet). We had tried everything, and nothing works. He doesn't have accidents during the night, just during the day.
He just doesn't want to go to the bathroom. He gets mad when you tell him that he has to go.
If you let him go when he wants , most of the time he gets wet.
If you can give me any advice I will really appreciate it
