Required age for sexual abuse

My question is if a 6 or 7 year old has anal and oral sex with her 10 or 11 year old cousin is that sexual abuse on the older cousin's part?

Yes no matter what age the culprit is it is sexual abuse to do those things with a child even if they are a child themselves.

Sarah is right, that is sexual abuse. By 10 you know right from wrong and you shouldn't do that. Now, that doesn't mean I wouldn't try them as an adult in court, but there should be drastic consequences.

What do you think about an 8 year old boy cousin doing this with his 4 year old boy cousin? I seem to be the only one out of 4 parents who thinks this is a sexual power thing rather than a sex thing which in and of itself is wrong.

what2do I know your question wasnt directed to me but I do believe a lot of cases of sexual abuse have to do with power.

yeah me too. I just watched an episode of Law and Order SVU about this and I think that even children understand when they are hurting someone. Even my 3 year old does! I don't think they deserve to go to jail but like I said earlier there should be drastic consequences.

yes it is. a child at that age should NOT know about that type of stuff and it should not be acted upon. i would talk to the other parent and let them know what happend. from there i would make a police report. too many times parents avoid going to the police and sexual abuse continues.
this needs to be reported so that is does not happen to another child.

I know someone whose cousin did that to them and another person/people. imagine linving with the guilt of that for the rest of your life plus its incest.

ummm yea that is rong in so many different ways for one they r both way to young to even kbno about that stuff and where in the hell is that boy learning that stuff? someone needs to look at his parents and give them a talken too
