She is 3 1/2 and Is not Potty Trained! HELP!

Hi. I'm currently looking after a persons child due to the mothers issues. She is 3 1/2 and her mother has not potty trained her. The girl  basically lives in my house. She has a bit of an attitude and is very intelligent. But she is not potty trained. I tell her that she needs to pee in the the toilet, and if she needs to pee, she should tell me. After drilling it into her she still pees on the floor and does not notify me!! If i notice that she has drank a lot of liquid I put her on the toilet and she occasionally pees. But usually when I put her on the toilet, she complains that the pee isn't coming, and she wants to get off. And constantly throws tantrums and cries uncontrollably. I put her in underwere but she just pees through it onto the floor. Can anybody help with me! Its really urgent and I'm a busy persona and having her pee by herself would be a great help! PLEASE help.

I'd put her in pullups and change them every couple of hours.  They can hold a lot.  It's easier than what you are doing, cleaning the floor and putting her on the toilet and waiting.

If she basically has been abandoned by her mother to live in your house, she has worse issues than potty training, and adding more anxiety to her life (by trying to potty train her) is going to make it more likely she'll have accidents, not less.

Have you considered talking to Children's Services about the child?
