by Haremiliana, Mar 31, 2008 08:53AM
Today my boy got back from school and told me that the boy who punched him the other day sworn at me for making a police report the thing is I don't know wheather I should or shouldn't inform the parent about this matter as I think he is still a boy but on the other hand this family should know about the matter and address it appropriately.

hare,  can you be more clear about your question?

You filed a police report after a child at school hit your son,  and then today the boy swore about you filing a police report and you wonder should you call the parents and inform them that their son swore about you?

Did your son need medical care from this fight?

if you know the child's parents then yes go for it..  but if it happen at school and then the school should have told them about the fight   and if you are talking about the kid and that he sworn at you for the report then he got in trouble at home and he is mad at you for it  but he just used words and did not hurt you   people are to use freedom of speech  but like i said if you know the parents let then know that he disrespected you if not leave it go  you did the right thing by the report

Ignore it, unless you know his parents.  Don't let some little punk bother you with his words.  I personally don't think it's worth the fight, you filed a police report and if that kid wants to whine about it, too bad.  Your teaching your son a lesson here so whatever you do, think it over twice.

Thanks everyone for your comments and advise the matter is solved at the moment yesterday my husband told the grandmother of the boy about the matter and the boy admitted to swear at me.
The punching incident happened in school, when the police report was done the discipline master didn't bother to look into it until my husband told him that we will report the matter to the ministry of education, then only he investigate the matter, as far as I know the matter didn't get to the parent because the boy keep on picking on my boy while the other boy who joined him stop.
FYI my boy is only in the first grade I never had any idea that this will happen so young.
