How do you get a nearly 4 year old (my granddaughter) to use the toilet for bowel movements? She will go hide under the table or maybe that pantry and sit down and poop her pants. I have tried watching for the "hiding" and get her on the toilet, and she throws a tantrumTemper tantrums. She seems to use the toilet fine for potty but poop is impossible. I only have her one day a week, her parents are getting divorced, and I don't know if this is a controlControl Control rx thing for her or what. Her parents get along pretty good about visits, and seem to be on the same page on her behavior problems, and so on, they also share custody 50/50.
I also have a 4 year old daughter who had a problem w/ potty training. I did this in 2 days, all I can say is "what do you have to loose?" I took my daughter out of her pull ups & had her walk around in regularRegular insulin underwear, she had 1 accident in them & then never again. I wish I would of thought of this sooner, she might have been trained 1 year before this. I've been there & know how you & her parents feel. Lots of Luck!
