What's wrong w/ my child?

My daughter is 3 yrs old.  She weighs 26lbs.  She does not talk except for babbling.  Her eyes roll back in her head and she'll fall down or stumble.  I've had her tested for epilepsy, she doesn't have any problems w/ her brain or brain waves.  I've had her chromosones checked, she isn't missing anything.  My uncle told me about a disease that had to do w/ dairy product allergies, so I took her off all dairy for a month.  Nothing changed.  I've had her hearing checked, no problem there.  Her pediatrician said she doesn't have Autism.  What should I do to find out what's wrong? She's so little and she is only developed in motor skills to about an 18 month old.  Please tell me what other tests I should have done.  Thank you for your time.

At 26 pounds, your daughter (depending how close she is to turning four, is at the very low end of the spectrum in weight for children her age. This is itself is not alarming, depending on the progress of her weight over time.

Of more concern are the other symptoms you describe. I wish I could offer you some guidance that would set your mind at ease and solve the problem, but I can't. All I can suggest is that you seek second opinions - something is certainly not right in your daughter's development. Two particular courses I would underatke would be (a) an examination by a developmental pediatrician, and (b) examination by a pediatric neurologist.

my grandson is 3 and he weights 28 lbs. he will go 2 to 3 days with nothig but 2 crackers and 3 grapes.His mother was SUFFERING FROM AN INGROWN FEAR THAT HE WOULD BE OVERWEIGHT. HE HAS NEVER HAD BREAD POTATOES FAT OF ANY KIND WHEN THE DOCTORS COMMENTED ON HAVING HIM TRY TO GAIN WEIGHT THE MOTHER PANICED AND STILL REFUSES TO LET HIM HAVE FAT IN HIS DIET AT ALL.. HE HAS ONLY GAIN 2 LBS IN A YEAR AND HE WEARS SIZE 2 . HIS SHOE SIZE HAS NOT CHANGED IN A YEAR. HE HAS SOME SERIOUS EMOTIONAL PROBLEMS. HE IS VIOLENT TO OTHER CHILDREN . IF YOU LEAVE HIM ALONE FOR EVEN A MINUTE WITH A CHILD HE WILL BITE OR SVERELY SCRATCH THAT CHILD BUT NEVER IN FRONT OF YOUR. HE HURTS ANIMALS AND HURTS HIMSELF. HE SCRATCHES HIS FACE UNTIL IT BLEEDS WE WORRY SO MUCH ABOUT HIM, HOWEVER HE IS EXTREMELY EXTREMELY BRIGHT. HE HAS BEEN SPEAKING CLEARLY EVER SINCE HE WAS 10 MONTHS. HE HAS PHOTOGRAPHIC MEMORY AND REMEMBERS PEOPLES NAMES HE HAS ONLY SEEN ONCE.HE KNOWS EVERY ANIMAL THEIR CORRECT SPECIES name AND THE CORRECT NAME FOR ALL OF THEIR YOUNG. IT IS VERY SCARY.IS WHAT I'M READING HERE TODAY THAT VERY, VERY BRIGHT CHILDREN CAN HAVE SERIOUS EMOTIONAL PROBLEMS? WE WORRY THAT THIS DIET THE MOTHER PUT HIM ON HAS AFFECTED HIM EMOTIONALLY.
