Why is my son like this?

My son is nearly 10 and a half but seems to struggle with lots of thing in a normal day.
At school he struggles to make friends and gets upset when people don't use his name and use nick names like jac in the box, in the mornings he just wonders round the playground by himself and looks lost, like he does'nt fit in.
He struggles to have a normal conversation and often has no idea what we are talking about, i will ask him to get me something and by the time he get to the top of the stairs he's forgotten what i've asked him to do or comes back with the wrong thing
He get upset if things change even down to changing car or what we are having for dinner, and has a real struggle to through out toys he has grown out of.
He is about 2 years behind at school in most subjects but he is ok at maths, he finds spelling very hard and will learn them but forget them by the next morning and does not understand phonics
He loves computers and would happily stay on them all day, he tends to watch the same pokemon clips again and again, im really struggling to understand him and find his behaviour and lack of understanding hard.
My 4 and 5 year old can tell my mood if i've had a bad day but my 10 year old does'nt, why is he so different? he has some trouble with his speach/pronouciation eg: gigantic would be gimantic! my 5 year old seems to no more about the world than he does, please could you give me some clue as how to help him
Sorry thid is a bit rambled but when it comes to my son im confused
Many thanks bunnybear

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Your son is displaying multiple concerns and may be exhibiting the signs of a developmental disorder. Certainly he is showing developmental lags in a number of areas of his functioning. This situation demands evaluation. He should undergo a broad developmental evaluation, during which he will be assessed by a developmental pediatrician, a psychologist, a psychiatrist, a speech/language clinician, an occupational therapist and a physical therapist (perhaps a neurologist as well). Such extensive evaluations are often conducted in peditraic hospitals affiliated with universities - so-called teaching hospitals. Speak with his pediatrician about this and about where you can turn in your area to obtain the evaluation.
