Zantac and Infants

by ecla99, Mar 19, 2007 12:00AM
My doctor prescribed Zantac to our son at 6 weeks.  We have been giving this medication for 6 weeks now and really want to ween him off of it.  Unfortunately, it has been difficult with screeming episodes lasting for 45 minutes each.  Can you please help?
Thanks,

My friend's baby had to take it for 6 months. I don't know if that will help you any, other than maybe you need a little more time on it????
