adhd meds dont work

I have tried everything from counseling to medication.  My son is very smart but he uses it to manipulate every situation.  He refuses to take responsibility for his actions.  He has  been diagnosed with ADHD and ODD.  When he wants to he can behave in school at home but in a snap he refuses.  He breaks thinks and hurts his siblings if he doesnt get his way.  I have have also removed him from his meds and placed him on an organic diet and it works sometimes like everything else but I really believe we have a serious problem.  What else is there?  I am at my wits end I cant afford a fancy school to send him to.  what else can we do.

Is it possible that your son was misdiagnosed with ADHD and that is the reason the meds don't work?  ODD is an anxiety disorder - what treatment is your doctor using for this disorder?

Does Bipolar disorder run in your family?
My son is BP ,ADHD, OCD.
And sounds very similar. DOes he have meltdowns that last 30 min or more?
And also my son is very bright for his age. Which unfortunetly he gets bored at school because the work is too easy for him which then he acts out.
