aggressive and rude behaviour

my son i 3 1/2 will be 4 in june he has got though hitting phases but recently it has got worse he hits for no reason gets all aggressive slaps, hits, pokes and with objects, pulls hair, you tell him to stop he wont listen. doesnt listen when you talk to him answers back and with rude commentslike stop talking to me your making my head hurt. talks about killing people or eating them. i am really worried and i also have a concorns from this nursary teacher is it just his age. his dad had add and adhd. and what can i do to stop this behaviour.

Talk to his pediatrician.  They can often give you advice on what would cause behavioral problems and if necessary, direct you to have him evaluated.  They can often tell you by an exam if he has add/adhd.   He may be an active little boy who needs someplace to vent his energy as well but the comments about killing and eating people is a little worrisome.  

Does he play video games at home or at a friends house that may be a little too graphic?  I have 2 girls, 4 and 1 and the older one doesn't play video games so I don't know at what age they would start playing but if your son is, monitor and make sure his or his friends video games are age appropriate.
