I have no idea where to go to with my 7 year old. He see's a counsellor at child youth and mentalMental retardation Mental status tests health; he is confused and has been put through a lot for his age however over the last month his angerIslets of langerhans Ovarian cancer dangers Pancreatic islet cell tumor has escalated to the point of hitting, breaking things and destroying his room. I am told to talk quietly to him and follow the actions & consequences line and put him into time out for 7 minutes but this just does not work. I am a single parent and his dad is aware of his actions and has spoken to him but I cannot controlControl Control rx him. If I try to follow this counsellors advice I end up in such a mess. I cannot get him to time out let alone stop his angerIslets of langerhans Ovarian cancer dangers Pancreatic islet cell tumor flowing onto me. I take things off him and my own day/nights become unbearable. I have had 2 really bad weekends with him and called a police friend to come and help me as he was threatening to break windows in his room. He is smart but lazy. He has always had toileting problems and is over weight (see's dieticain). I read and listen to all this advice but I can't get him under controlControl Control rx. Who could I take him to in Brisbane?
what do the counsellors say what they think is going on, what is happening prior to the behavior you describe ,the hitting and the threatening to break windows , I feel there is more to this , give us more input and a scenario.
