baby snoring

by tuesdaysgrace, Dec 08, 2002 12:00AM
My 5 month old boy started having sinus congestion and snoring about a month ago.  He does not have a cold or any nasal drainage.  The "rattling" in his sinus's is worse while he is nursing and when he is sleeping.  It wakes him often and he went from sleeping 5-7 hours at night to waking and wanting to nurse every 2-3 hours all night.  He just started rice cereal last week and it has not changed his sleep habits at all.  He acts hungry every 2-3 hours around the clock, I try to keep a nursing schedule of every 3 hours.

Schedule an appointment with your son's pediatrician to have this condition evaluated. It sounds like it is interfering with his achievement of a stable sleep pattern.
