Well it depends if its a hot temp in your house or if he/she has a fever can you give us more details , how long has baby been like this, the age of the baby ? Take the temperature of the baby and if it is high over 100 I would take him/her to the doctor or clinic. Has the baby any other symptoms , diarreha , throwing up, as this may cause dehydration and definatly get some advice . .Good luck let us know how baby is doing ..

If there's no fever, there's nothing to worry about.  All of my children, as babies, got sweaty heads when they were tired.  It was a perfect signal to tell us to get them off to bed!

It might indicate the baby is too hot.  A baby's hands and even face should be cool when he or she is sleeping, as long as (when you put your fingers down the back of the sleeper neck) the baby's body feels warm, it's OK.
