baby tantrums

How do you stop a baby from having a tantrum..  What do you do when they are screaming and contorting their bodies?  my boys are 15 months and have just started with this behavior.  As well one clings to me while the other thinks he is boss.  Up to now they have been angels.

everytime he does it pick him up put him in a playpen and walk away- say nothing- he is too young to reason with in my opinion but you can try when he calms.

The child thinks he is boss? over you? or over the brother?

Temper tantrums are a normal part of development frustration as language skills increase tantrums decrease. Distraction works pretty well and avoid them in the first place is a good idea, and yes dont feed into it , Children love loud musci, before the tantrum really takes hold, you dance and laugh to some music do some prancing around the room you will soon have them laughing not yelling, mostly dont worry..
