bathroom problems

My daughter is 5 she is having trouble going to the bathroom she holds it in thill the last min and also she does not have a boul movement but once a week. She is in Pre K and comes home with soiled panties. when she does go to the bathroom she  is in pain and crying. I don't know how to get her to go to the bathroom as soon as she knows she has to go. She also wets the bed still. Is there anything i can do to help her? I tried stool softners and those help but i need something.

She should be evaluated by her pediatrician. By definition, a child who moves her bowels only once weekly is constipated, and this can also be at the root of the enuresis.

Orange juice is good to soften stools, also get her to eat lots of fresh vegetables and fibre to try to make her go to the loo more often.  As for the bed wetting make sure she goes to the toilet before bed see if that works. Also she may not want to go to the toilet because she says she's in pain so maybe she's scared of the pain and has associated it with goin to the toilet. Take her to the doctor to check because she cud have piles which are common but I don't know if children get them. Try all these things as I understand how frustrating it can be my son still occasionally poos his pants and he's 7 so your not on your own. Hope I have helped x

she is not being abused and am very pissed that you would even think that is the answer for her holding in her pee......

The very first thing I would rule out is if she has or is sexual ing abused, I'm sorry to mention that but any dr would also. Second, I would recommend some stool softener for children, and change her soap to allergy free for her baths and underwear. Maybe she has sensitive skin and she has a rash which makes it uncomfortable to go. Get some baby powder for her to use. Just dust it on her pants maybe
