bowel movements

my friend has a little boy three yrs. old who refuses to poop. he holds it in and stiffens up shakes. he refuses to let it out. i have tried everything to  him to poop. he has had his buut broken out and yet he still refuses i need some helpto find out what else to do. he lives with his mother for two weeeks and his father for two weeks. they have been seperated for 6mths. he will go pee no problem but i'm stumped as far as bowel movements.

Make sure his diet has Fibre and he drinks plenty of water,  and dont make an Issue about it, let his parents deal with it, perhaps they should back off and he will do it without a lot of Drama ,which is feeding into him not wanting to go.
