child twitches

My son is 1 year old and has had twitches since 2 weeks and is now coupled with developmental delay.
Various medications have been administered Rivotril, Epilim and currently topamax, with our current doctor doing a combination to arrest this, but the twitches have not gone away. At times they look like salaam attacks

We have conducted EEGs and MRI, the last scan being on August 2008.

We have him on occupational therapy and religiously follow our current doctor’s instructions.

You are already on the right track. Treatment is not straightforward. That is, any number of medications might be useful, but any one child responds in an individual way. Your neurologist is trying to find the most effective drug(s). You really have no choice but to keep up with the efforst you are undertaking.
