my nephew is two months away from turning four, he has shown signs of having autism, and is awaiting an appointment with a specialist he has recently begun eating his own feces...........could this be another sign of the autism?

I also have a 2 year 11 month old diagnosed on the Spectrum. He suffers from Pica, eating non-edibles and although extremely picky about food, has recently begun eating his feces also. It's very important to follow through with that evaluation. The faster you find out what's going on, the faster you can begin early intervention.
