cis child discover how to masterbate?

by silvertree802, Jun 05, 2008 12:04PM
My friend's daughter said that she discover how to make her feel good with old curvy chair which she grown up with. She's 6year old. But DHS said to her someone have to teach her how to do it, and they're point finger to her older son. He said he never hand on his younger sister.
Is it possible that 6year old can discover how to masterbate herself?
And if wnyone know if there's any kind of articles that may help us understand it.

There is no way she learned on her own. Somone or something had to teach her. I suppose the brother, maybey he masturbates as well.

I disagree with the above post.  Chilren naturally find ways to "make themselves feel good".  It is important that she know this is a private thing that is to be done in a private place.

"I should know, I have a masters in Child Sexual Health."

Why do people ask questions like this?  It seems like this generation of parents doesn't have any idea that kids figure out that rubbing themselves feels good,  and certainly no one has to SHOW them that!  I think we've become way too focused on the possibility of molestation and aren't using common sense.

If she were simulating complicated sex acts,  or acting out sexually with men,  or describing sex acts, that's a concern.  Rubbing herself on the bannister comes naturally - most girls learn not to do it publicly because it isn't appropriate in public.  Other girls are less socially adept and have to be told stop doing that in public.

I can't believe a child abuse worker would tell a parent that her child couldn't have figured this out on her own.

Here we go again, I am fed up of repeting the same thing.

Children are sexual, and what she is doing is perfectly normal. Nobody taught her to do this, she figured it out herself just like all children. Pretty much all children masterbate. Scolding her for doing this will just mess her up. Allow her to do it in privacy.

Masterbation (masturbation) is perfectly normal and healthy, even for a 6 year old. There is a 99% chance that you masterbated at this age, and either don't remember it, or refuse to admit it.
