Hi, thank you for discovering this site.. I have a 6 years old son who likes fighting and beating fellow children and sometimes adults when he doesn't want to do what they him to do.  We took him into a learning institution who does the assessment for children on their educational capabilities and the assessment was he doesnt have concentration as he easily get turn his attention into a thing which attract him. Though he attended into pre-school since he was 3 years old they said he even not ready for kindergarden while according to his age he supposed to be in grade one. They advised us to consult teacher psychology.. Is my son has a brain problem? I there anything we can do to help him get his concentration for him to be able to follow instruction in school?
Thank you.
Leony

Yes, take your son to see a child psychologist and go from there.

I agree with mammo, he needs professional help.  The only thing that you can do at home  right now is to get him that help.   Basically, they are saying that your son probably has ADHD.  A good book that deals with this is, "The ADD/ ADHD Answer book," by Susan Ashley.   There are things that you can do at home to help him with the fighting and they are detailed in the book.  A child psychologist is a good choice, a child psychiatrist would be even better.  Good luck.
