depress

I'm a mom of a 11 year old sweet girl. Excellent behavior, excellent student. Lately she has mentioned two times that she feels depress and she doesn't know why. Should I be concerned and look for help or it could be a hormonal phase that is causing her to feel like that. She says that her life is happy and there is no reason for her to feel like this.

I could be puberty starting or it could be depression.  Our child was diagnosed with depression at six years of age.  Most people do not think that children can be clinically depressed, but unfortunately, that is not so.  I would suggest you contact your local physician.
