depression in children

i have a ten year old daughter who i beleive is lactose intolerant she is waiting to be tested but by process of elimination she has to be as she was tested for everything else.  Other than that i would like to konw if it is possible that she could be depressed or have an anxiety disorder i know i would have to get her checked by a docter but how woukd i go about it and is it even possible.  The reason i ask is shes always worried and anxious,  lets people push her around and tell her what to do all the time and dosnt listen to anyone.   I understand this behaviour can come with age but this is extream.  she also has a tendancy to drift of into her own little world even when out with friends.  i would love some feedback on it.

You would have a clinical psychologist, clinical social worker, clinical nurse specialist or child psychiatrist evaluate her. If you are not sure how to arrange this, either ask her pediatrician for guidance about it or call the number on the back of her insurance card and they will tell you about providers in your area.
