diet pills

Just found a stash of diet pills in my 19-year-old daughter's room.  Am worried and want advice on how to deal with this.  Thank you, very much.

Deal with the matter directly - i.e., tell your daughter what you discovered (and be prepared to talk about why you were in a position to discover it) and let her know about your worry. She'll take it from there.

If it were not for finding the pills, would you have any reason to be concerned about her? Is she displaying any medical, psychological or other symptoms? Is she functioning normally within and outside of the family? The diet pills in and of themselves are not necessarily a reason to worry - it depends on the context.
