different school for the summer

See I have an 8 year old and goes to his dads for the summer. His teachers says he needs to go to summer school. I was wondering if it would be harmful to him if he goes to a different school that he has never been to for just the summer.? the reason of asking this question is because the school he goes to currently he has been working with the same special ed teachers for the last 4 1/2 years. Would it hurt him emotionaly going to a school without knowing anyone.

While it would be more comfortable for him o remain in his regular school, ith the big picture, so to speak,it will be fine for him to attend school where his father is. All else being equal (i.e., if he enjoys the time with his father and it is important that he follow through with the visitation plan), it's fine if he goes with his father and attends school there.
