febrile convulation

hello my 9 year old daughter has been having what the doctors call febrile convulation she has been having them since she was about 6 months old, we was told that she will grow out of them by the time she is 5 or 6 but she is still having them. she's having them about 16 months - 2 years apart, they can last from a few minutes - about 10 minutes the longest one was just under 30 minutes, she's had an EEG done and lots of blood test done in the past but everything was clear.sometimes when she has them she is sick with the flu, what other test could be done to see if they are febrile convulation or if they are something else and if they have coursed any damage to her brain. the most resent one was on the 20th july.

It sounds like you have pursued sensible intervention and that the sensible diagnostic work has been undertaken. Discuss your concern with her neurologist.
