Well alot of the time i'll just respond with something like "really?" he'll answer yes and then again he is repeating his self. But I do thank u for ur response I will keep that in mind, it makes ALOT of sense cause im sure I have just repeated him before.
Desiree, children learn languages almost exclusively from their mothers. When you respond to him, do you usually just repeat what he said to you, in question form?
Is that how your conversations go, really? With him saying something, and you echoing it back to him, and then he echoes it back to you?
Maybe you gave a bad example of a conversation. But if that's actually how you respond to him, then he's learned that repeating is how you converse.
How about if he says "he took the car and did zooomm", and then you say "wow, did you get to play with the car too?"
