my daughter is two years old and pulls out her hair and eats it shes not a good eater and often gags on food as if she doesnt like it. it makes me think shes just got a bunch of hair in her throatCancer - throat or larynx Throat swab culture or something.I often tell her to stop that she wont have any pretty hair left if she keeps doing it and she tries but doesnt seem to be able to controlControl Control rx it. she is extremely happy and just an all around beautiful child, never complains or crys to much but im so concerned about her eating. what do I do, I asked her Doctor a month ago he told me he would check with one of his collegues, well I'm patiently waiting as time goes on never contacted me to this point, Im thinking he just does not know. what shall I do about the whole eating thing and do you think she is filled up on hair? thanks minimia
Go to a different doctor immediately! This is some sort of medical condition and eating hair can cause a LOT of problems with her intestines, which of course can harm her. Don't wait around for that Dr. to call you back, seek another Dr. who doesn't drag his feet.
