we have been trying to potty train our son for a year or so now. He will be 4 in august and all of his cousins...including his soon to be 2 year old cousin is potty trained. I feel like I have failed in some way with him not being potty trained..He will go when he feels the need to ...but doesn't care either way. I have tried rewards and all of that stuff..but it don't work. He only pees in the potty..never pooped. I just don't want my son to be a 4 year old still in diapers...some one PLEASE HELP ME!!
Are his cousins girls?
It seems my girls took to potty training easier than my boy.
My boy is 6, and still has occasional accidents.
I personally resorted to telling my son that he can not have a cookie or candy after dinner until he poops in the toilet and reads to me.
This is something he really enjoys, so he seems to be doing both now.
Is there something he really loves that you could do the same?
