how to make my son stop

hello! I am a  mother and I have a 2 year old son. he is a very intelligent active and joyous child but we are having a problem at the moment. time after time during play or at any moment my son screams. looks like he has fun doing it but I can't listen to it. I have told him to stop but he does it again. I tried the other way, being indifferent but he still does it. maybe he screams to attract  attention but how can I tell him convince him not to scream. how should I behave.

thank you for helping me, niki

I agree with you he is doing it to get attention and maybe he has copied it from another child, you may have to put up with some of it, but try distraction, when he starts to scream , give him something to do get him focused on another game, and make sure he is getting lots of positive attention and you talk to him, all children like talk and noise, if he isnt stimulated enough he will make his own, if you are a quiet Mom get a little noisier, how about some lively music and singing it could replace the screaming.
