i DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO....

MY FIVE YEAR OLD NiECE TOLD ME LAST NiGHT THAT HER 4YR OLD SISTER LiKES POKiNG HER SELF DOWN THERE AND THAT SHE LiKES iT... THEN SHE CAME OUT & SAiD "OH i FORGOT, OUR STEP DAD PUT HiS WEE-WEE iNSiDE HER BUTT & HE WAS GOiNG UP & DOWN ON TOP OF HER..."  i CALLED HER MOM BECAUSE i WAS WORRiED THAT HE HAD REALLY DONE SOMETHiNG TO MY LiL NiECE... HER MOM TOLD ME THAT THE LiL ONE HAD TOLD HER SOMETHiNG ABOUT 5MONTHS AGO & SHE TOLD HiM & HE DENiED iT SO SHE DiDN'T THiNK MUCH ABOUT iT... BUT NOW THAT THE GiRLS BROUGHT BACK OUT SHE iS CONCERNED... CAN WE STiLL ACCUSE HiM OF RAPE??? AND iF WE TAKE HER TO THE DOCTORS WiLL THEY BE ABLE TO TELL US iF SHE WAS RAPED IN ANY WAY???

Yes, they'd be able to tell. Her hyman would be torn. She'd have to have a pelvic exam. Her mother should definately take this seriously and take her to the doctor to get checked out. She needs to report this. It's her responsibility to protect her child. The child is too young to defend herself. I hope she does the right thing.

April,  did you read her other post?  It sounds like it was anal,   so it might be harder to tell.

You should call social services.  You have told the mother and nothing was done about it.  This may cause problems, but tell this woman that your concern is only out of love and how can she fault you for that.  Any ramifications this may cause honestly are worth it.  I have never been in that sort of position, but I have been in a position where my mother was so blinded by what she wanted her boyfriend to be, she didn't see what was going on right under her nose.  CALL SOCIAL SERVICES.  Better safe than sorry.  If you do not want to go that far, casually ask the mother in conversation the name of the peditrition.  Say you need it, or a friend asked for a referal...who do the girls use?  Then call, and say you have a concern.   Perhaps at the next check up, or sick visit, they could investigate further to see if social services needs to be called, or ask enough questions to the girls themselves to spark their own concern so that you would not be directly involved.  Trust me, people will try to work around you so they protect the children.

Her telling you is really unbelievably a sign. Most kids that age don't talk about that type of stuff because they feel like they'll get punished for it.  Maybe it was a way of her also letting you know about her too.  She is reaching out to you, if she didn't want him to "get in trouble" she wouldn't have said anything to you.  It is the most horrible thing being a child and having something like that happen to you, but if it doesn't get "fixed" or dealt with in the girls mind that type of behavior will only get worse.  I was abused by some friends when i was little and i always felt like i was the wrong one, i was nasty for having thoughts in my head that should not have been there.  She wouldn't even know anything "went in" down there if she hadn't learned it somewhere.  Don't over-look it and don't let their mom, because then she will be condoning it, which will be the worst thing because then they will think it's ok for someone to hurt me like that.

There is no way that the 5 year old would know anything like that unless it was happening. This needs to be reported NOW or it will continue and it will get worse. If you would rather have the mother try to handle it, tell her that you believe the girls and you will report it to social services if she doesn't take action. They may be able to tell at the doctor if there was anal penetration because the skin in there will tear easily and it may cause scaring. If something is not done, these little girls could end up so damaged internally that they may never have children. These girls are crying out for help in the only way they know how. Since Mom didn't take it seriously, they came to you. Don't let them down. Good luck and I will say a prayer for the girls and you.
