improve my child performance in school

my child 41/2 years is very slow i doing his home work -his teacher say that he is smart but is the last one who finish class work.how can i improve his concentration in studying

what can a poor 4 year old possibly have to study? what kind of homework is he getting?
he is probably having trouble because it is not developmentally appropriate for 4 year olds to be sitting still and doing work. they are supposed to be learning through exploration and play. while some kids can sit and do work, and it not surprising at all to hear that some children struggle with it.

slow does not mean he is not concetrating. some children are perfectionists and will work until they feel it meets their idea of perfect. some are detail oriented. others are overwhelmed or intimidated by the task. if you were in the States, i would suggest you look into another program. however, i see you are from a different country and the school systems may be different there. my only bit of advice is to understand that it is normal for such a young child to have trouble concentrating in studying.

Does the school have a time schedule they are on and they have to finish ,ask the Teacher if he can take his time .You could try some supplements as it is recommended that children who find it hard to concentrate take a Multiple Vitamin-mineral supplement with B Complex and Vit C and fish oil.Check out his diet and make sure he gets eggs and Fish,lamb, skinless poultry, Tofu (if he'll eat it) ,protein rich foods support allertness and concentration. As he is smart he could simply be a child who needs more time to finish , ask if that can be accomodated.
