increase testerone in 4 year olds increases behavior problems

Is this true and does anyone know where it is documented?  4 year old boys... she stated that at the approximate age of 4, boy's testosterone levels double - then they go back down at 5.  This apparently is from a book called "Raising Boys" (don't know the author).  Supposedly this explains why boys become so "difficult" at 4 and then become "human" again at 5. Thank you

Steve Biddulph, the author of ther book you cited, believe this to be true. In general, though, testosterone levels in the pre-adolescent years remain pretty stable and it is actually not true that four-year-old boys in general become difficult. This is not to say that Biddulph'd assertion is false - it is simply an excessively simplistic generalization.
