is it normal for a 1 1/2 yr old to get extremely angry

my daughter is 1 1/2 yrs old. She gets very angry if she gets disciplined she wants to throw things and knock large things like chairs down. she screams and throws tantrums if she doesnt get her way. She will raise her hand to hit and even pull her own hair. She has raised her hand to my 7 yr old daughter and pulls her hair too ! I  have not seen a doctor as of yet but I dont think this is normal for such a young toddler.....HELP....

It's quite normal for children at that age to get angry and have tantrum. When she gets angry and start to pull her hair or her sister and do other horrible things, take him to another room, tell her nicely that she shoudn't do that and you don't like it when she has calmed down for a while. When she gets tantrum, just let her for a while and when the anger has been over, tell that her behavior is bad and she shoudn't do that. Also remember not to give what she wants to stop her tantrum. You should teach her that she can't always get whatever she want.

Cheers,

It is normal, my boys went thru this and still are. When she pulls your daughters hair or hits her you need to let your daughter tell her no thats not nice. Then you need to do the same and put her in time out.
