is my sons behavior normal?

I have always noticed little things thy would bother my son. He just turned two but has been very particular about everything. There was one day that he was sick and I was putting him in the bath and just as he took off his diaper he went potty all over the floor. He cried about it for a while but then even after my cleaning he would get a towel and water and clean only that one spot and cry. This went on for about a week.
That was the first thing that caught my attention and now that I pay extra attention to things I have noticed much more. My father came into my house with his shoes on and my some screamed at him untilled the shoes were in the shoe box by the door. He will cry if his clothes have a hole on them. That goes for shoes too. If a shoe falls off in the car I have to either take the other one off or put the first one back on. There cannot be any loose strings anywhere whether on clothes or carpet, nothing like that. He wont eat off a messy plate only the ones that have the deviders.
I would nothing think of these things a too much of a big deal but he acts like these thing hurt him if I dont do it his way. Am I being paranoid? Should I take him to a child therapist?
