is she really paranoid?

is she really paranoid?

my daughter is 10 years old recently (5months ago) she had a mild concussion from a fall into a book shelf at school...the lump on her forehead covered about half of her frontal lobe.this her her 2 concussion in 9 years. 5-6 years ago I notice that there was something different about her personality. she has seem to have a glossy look in her eyes as if she wasn't here, as if she needed to concentrate longer on what she had to say or any task she needed to accomplish...The doctor and wife said she was ok.. 6 weeks ago while playing soccer she had hit the soccer ball with her forehead...same spot as the injury from 5 months ago. The swelling from previous injury did not completly go down to normal size..it was still there but hard to see unless you looked closely..when she hit the ball with her head she came off the field crying,,we took her to the ER and had her examined...no problems were found but a possible re-occurring concussion ..so she was not allowed to play soccer or any physical acivities for 2 weeks..but my wife, myself and the rest of the family are now dealing with a problem that to me seems to be a physical issue than an emotional one. My daughter Aexi does not want to be left alone in any room of the house including her own bedroom, when its time for her to go to bed, she starts a screaming fit that last for a few minutes to an hour or so. she has to follow everyone anywhere in the house including the bathroom. I have also notice that her soccer skills have gotten worse and not better since she has been back playing. her aggression to play the game has decreased and her fear of the soccer ball has increased. The family and I are having a tough time dealing with her paranoid issues and dont know where to start for treatment..my thought is that there is a physical problem with her brain and not mental problem...please help... family running scared

She is displaying separation anxiety disorder, along with some symptoms that appear to be neurological in nature. She should first be evaluated by a pediatric neurologist and then by a child psychiatrist.
