is something wrong

my husband and father to my children died in oct. my 19 month old son has had trouble sleeping every since then he recently has started saying i die or i died. the doctors i spoke with said that he wouldnt even remember or it affect him. he is so scared that we are all going to leave him and im not really sure if this is just normal behavior or if something is wrong.

I agree with the feedback you have gotten, but that does not mean that the environment around your son is the same as it was. Of course things are different, and your son is likely responding to the chnages around him. Now, it is not unusual as a phase of development for children of this age to exhbit some separation anxity in any cae, so you may be witnessing some of that. All you can do is maintain a stable routine and stable life for your son and he will respond to that.
