A native English speaking child of two, standard English speaking parents frequently uses poor grammar (no past tense, goed for went or goes for went, etc.).  Child is seven years old.  Also had poor motor coordination- pulling seatbelt strap over self to buckle is difficult to figure out.  Does not know how to tie shoes and is confused by process. School is difficult but able to keep up, mostly.  Is lack of proper language usage a red flag?  Will it work itself out?

It would be prudent to arrange an evaluation by a Speech Language Clinician for the purpose of making a determination of the degree of her problem.
