hello my daughter has a multiple cong defect syndrome, unspecified, she also has a unidentified developmental syndrome. people have said that low lying ears even mialdly can be a sign of brain damage inutero and is often seen in kids with dev delays, is ther any trueth to this? also hear recentally my daughter has started to fight and hit her self as if though she was arquing with another person she is 3 and a only child, she has nerbal auditory agnosia, si problems and reguires much more input to function than most kids and litterally will throw herself into walls for fun. socially she is at about 24mo right now, and adaptivally she is about hte same point. she is very happy griendally child who loves every one and seeks hugs often. i know this is not normal behavior but why does she act like this exspecially hitting and disaplining herself this just seem odd she started the behavior after we put her in a dev pre school 3 days per weak and really sems to enjoy hitting and scolding herself any idea as to hwy is this all part of the low ears or or what is it true that they are a sighn of nuerological problems when it comes to dev she also has seizures and hyotonia.
cong scoliosis, bilateral renal reflux, and multible vertabre defects, plus a tethered cord.
