my 14 month old son walks on his toes

My 14 month old son walks on his tippy toes, when he started to stand we bought a walker to help him get around..well now he walks tippy toe all the time even with shoes on. I know hes doing this because of the walker standing tippy toed and pushing hiss body forward to push the walker to go but is there anyway to try and stop him from walking on his toes. When i hold him by his hands and walk him hes on his toes and im starting to get worried because if he was flat footed he would be walking on his own by now but because hes on his toes he has no balance well not enough to walk properly! we have taken him out of the walker for about 2 months now and still he walks on his toes..we also know hes only just started to crawl on all fours..i feel like its my fault the way he walks because we put him in a walker..i have a 5 yr old daughter walks fine but she was never in a walker!

You should arrange an evaluation by a pediatric orthopedic specialist. There's no point in waiting to see how this will proceed.
