my 9 year old pees his pants

My nine year-old son still pees his pants everyday. He pees the bed occasionally, but is mostly dry through the night. His peeing is mostly during the day when he is awake. He pees at school, home, anywhere he is. At first I thought it was because he didn't want to stop what he was doing, but i have been making him stop what he is doing every two hours and go to the bathroom. It isn't working. When I pick him up from school he will have a large wet spot on his pants. He also cant feel that he is wet. He has no idea that he has peed. I ask if he did and he will insist that he didn't even though his pants are wet. I have taken him to the doctor but they don't seem to worried. It cant be just because he is lazy, he actually is a hard worker. He says that he doesn't feel that he has to go, and before you know it he is wet. We are moving soon and he will be attending a new school. The kids at his current school do not tease him but I am afraid that at his new school he will have a very hard time.

Was he tested for a bladder infection?    Is he consuming large amounts of fluids?
