my daughter hits
My 5 almost 6 year old daughter is hitting other kids. I have noticed at home when dhe is frustrated she will start hitting. and there have been times at home with me when she had hit me out of anger.
Her teacher said that yeasterday she hit and scratched a little girl.... and that she showed almost no remorse. seh stood in time out angry... she said that concerned her.
When i spoke about the incident with my daughter she said she tried to say sorry...( this was later explained to get out of trouble) with out any nudging she began to cry and say how bad she felt for the other girl.
My daughter witnesses her father attack her day care provider. and the wya that he manages his frustration when he did not get what he wanted was violence.
can you recommend some books or anything???

no not anymore. he is in prison because that incident. we havent been together since she was 6 months old. i have a new boyfriend who is great!
